Didn't look like it. I didn't see any familiar faces.

Caught up with Scott Fergusson and a few of the other Consortium members. Damn that twit Anna isn't much of a public speaker, but her partner did a better job of firing up the crowd. Was really good to get some political figures on board for the protest.

Wasn't the "massive" turnout I thought it would be. Mostly the V8 and drag racer brigade ... didn't see any import crowd that I could recognise.

that retard that got up towards the end when the mic was open for anyone was too funny....

picture a wierdo looking bloke getting up on the mic infront of a few hundred rowdy v8 bogans and then saying this:

that was it, he had nothing to say at all about motorsport, dont think he even knew what the rally was about lol, very closely followed with a few high quality calls from somwhere in the crowd to get him off stage:

Yeah turnout was crap, probably because it was hardly advertised.

I think the pt Adelaide meeting actually had more people, not surprising since it was actually whored out on every car forum in Adelaide.

Yes, that's right... we're heading down to Austi Beach Cafe for a breakfast run through the Royal National Park! Itinerary: We will meet at Loftus Oval Carpark which has plenty of room and is low car friendly. This is a quick turn into the Royal National Park and some nice roads and scenery. After Stanwell Tops we will turn off and head onto the awesome Sea Cliff Bridge. Following this it is a short trip to Austi Beach Cafe. There will be a lead and follow car so no one should get lost. If you would like to attend or bring others along please put your name down and a +1 as numbers will be needed prior! This is NOT a race and we will all be adhering to all road rules.     • YO- have been searching and searching for an a31 chassis plug pinout, or someone who knows which wire is for tach.  ceffy was flooded past dash during a hurricane.  having an electrical gremlin appear. tach is wonky reading consistent with a short, and on occasion the right side of my speedo lighting will flicker just for a second then go back to normal.  if no pinout available does anyone know if the tach harness opens or branches anywhere behind the dash? im suspecting a possible root behind the radio as there are more shorts in that area on the accessory loop.
    • Means something is not set up right, tune/calibration related.  
    • Finally replaced the previous temporary mesh indicator surrounds (temporary was the last 10+ years 😂) with a 3D printed GTR style version for the front indicators. I think it looks a lot nicer than the old setup and at least the indicators now point in the correct direction rather than angled off. Needed a little bit of tweaking to deal with the intercooler piping but got there in the end. Old and new photos below. 
    • It's weird to me that you say this because I'm pretty sure locals with relatively standard standalone tunes (boost/barometric compensated alpha-N) still have driveability issues when they pop intercooler hoses. Maybe with enough data I can just train some kind of model that spits out an expected grams/cyl given every sensor input except MAF like what FCA did with their Pentastar 3.6 ECU logic. Basically stock everything. The main motivation honestly is to have a sensor that can be a decent baseline source of truth. In scenarios you're describing obviously it won't work every time but it seems to me the number of corner cases that exist in MAF load is maybe not as severe and difficult to manage vs ITB alpha-N with some MAP/barometric compensation.
