actually... alot of lotus europa guys are using the mazda sp 2.3L engines, with individual throttle bodies and motec.. they scream..

look at the driveshaft angles... looks like a mini skyline setup at the back.. .one could learn alot about setting up suspension angles from that.

pretty cool little car for the money. would be good fun at track days. like a few guys said spares could be a problem, it would probably be worth trying to get a mold made of the bodywork before racing it just in case.... but apart from that innovation could probably fix most problems.
