Having Trouble Installing Drift Button

Hey guys , just brought a little basic drift button, My problem is, i cannot take off my cover? is anyone having trouble taking it off? thanks. Me and my mates tried to take it off but its still not going off.. is there a special way of taking it off? like wriggling it around or something? thanks.

the rubber around holding the handbreak, i dont wana take off the whole thing, just the rubber leather thing around it, bcos i need to get the spring inside it..

i think... from memory.. it slides off... you may need to give it a little tappy.. after i did mine it kept sliding forwards every now and then so i think thats it.

you may have to get a screwdriver and pop out the chrome ring around the original button, it should slide off after that.

you cant actually remove the spring i dont think... so you have to get in there with needle nose pliers and just yank on the spring till it breaks... than tap the button on the end of the original button and happy days.

ohhh ok, so on top of the button where the silver ring is, i need to remove that silver ring? Thanks alot for ur help appreciate it.
