Hey Guys,

I finally got a set of wheels for the M35... I got some Enkei GTC01 in 19x8.5 +22 Tyres are 225/40/19

The fitment is perfect! exactly what I was going for in terms of filling the guards. Check out the pics

Some of you may remember I tried running a staggered set a few months back but had attesa issues.... Well I have now bought a set of 4 matching wheels and tyres, and still have the attessa shifting torque to the front when it doesnt need to.

Has anyone had this issue with aftermarket wheels on the M35? I never had this problem on my C34 stagea. Any advice/ideas would be great.

In the mean time check all the pics below! Im loving them :) I now have loads of room for 350Z Brembos :bunny:

Ben.

I am so jealous. (the only way they could be any better was if they in dark gun metal and then they would be perfect for my silver ARX, LOL)

I have no idea about the ATESA issue. Are you getting any fault codes? Have you checked the fluid in the ATESA bottle?

Other wise not sure what it is.

Cheers

Andy

hmmm, that would look great on your car Andy (when?), although I don't think Ben could have picked a nicer wheel colour to compliment the dark blue.

(could use a bit of dish though :) )

Hate to ask Ben, but when does it put torque to the front wheels?

Any time its under heavy load. if you gently accelerate its no problem, but if you give it a little it puts torque through. And yes im quite sure its no where near breaking traction. If the standard wheels are on, it stops doing it...

looks great ben.......no idea on the problem you are talking about but I do remember our GTR doing the same thing years ago when we changed wheels.... unless you have errors coming up on your screen I would not worry about it.

should get your nuts painted same as ur car

bit rude CL11QE!....not to mention the sanding back!!!....but whatever you into!!!

I drove a M35 that had the torque split gauges and the owner said if you give it a bit harder accelleration the power will move to front wheels and u can see it on the guage... maybe your problem is not really a problem. Any others notice this or does the torque split only happen when u break traction?

on hard acceleration

the gauge moves usually on atessa systems

Well when I put the standard wheels on, the only time the atessa comes on is when its breaking traction. There is a noticable difference on the guage between the two wheel sets.

Mind you... if there wasnt a guage I wouldnt think there is a problem. everything runs perfectly, no warning lights, or vibrations or anything!
