I've got the same Cooling Pro intercooler and fits very nicely in the '99 R34 GT-T. No need for cutting of front bar etc. Just need to be wary of the following when fitting to r34 gt-t.

Some extras I needed done to make things fit nicely was to change the radiator fan due to depth, original would protrude too much and get in the way of the cooler. Used a '98 r34 gt-t radiator fan. Custom brackets had to be created to mount the cooler securely. My mechanic pretty much put all this in not sure if there were any other changes required.
