R33 S2 what?

GTS-T injectors are 370cc.

If GTR, the stock injectors (444cc) are good for up to about 280kw.

If GTS-T, Nismo 555cc injectors are probably the way to go, they are direct fit on. There are other cheaper options like Sard have to mess with collars etc

There are some 2nd hand options like the S15 SR20 injectors are 480cc, I'm sure there's others

No.

Im in a similar boat as well.

1) S15 Spec R injectors 480cc~

2) RX7 S4/5 (red) 550cc i think

3) Subaru Version 4 Injectors - 440cc?

Those 3 will drop straight in. Rumours have it that the RX7 injectors spray pattern may be different but I know of a few people running them and making good power, safely.

If you can get your hands on the s15 ones, should be gold. Otherwise yeh.. balance our ur options.. whether to go with 2nd hand or new Nismo's.

Nismo 555cc bolt straight into stock fuel rail as far as I know (Nismo also make 740cc injector that's also a direct fit but overkill for your application).

GTR injectors are top feed (not to mention low impedence), RB25 takes side feed injectors.

You would have to convert to a top feed fuel rail (would open up alot of top feed options), but someone else will have to answer if it's feasable to do or possible at all without alot of messing around.

ok i understand now...thanks for quick responses

i guess i just have to get 6 s15 injectors (which will be uber hard)

if not,ima just get the nismos 555....im just after 260kw power..no more...

Thanks boys

I am using nismo 740cc injectors on my R33 Series 2 GTST and making about 260rwkw, if your not wanting to make more then about 300rwkw, i would suggest the nismo 550cc injectors. The nismo's just bolt straight in...you can then also say you have nismo parts on your car

On a similar note - you can get your stock injectors decapped/hiflowed and they instantly become 740cc(i think). However when you do that, you will need to check the spray pattern and do an extensive flow test. however this route isnt very popular due to people not wanting to "risk" it, which is fair enough.

Those S15 injectors are pretty hard to find as you will most likely need to buy 2 sets. Talk to an engine builder, or your tuner to see what the best options are.

not to be an ass but i think i have 6 S15 injectors here at work.

  • 2 weeks later...

They come up on here for sale all the time as a set of 6. My set just got delivered yesterday. Just need to take the time to search through the for sale section..

Personally i don't think there is a better bang for buck option. New nismo 555's are like 1100-1200... or you can get s15 480cc injectors for 400. $100 and give them a clean and they're as good as new anyway!

i have a similar setup to Aberax and also using 740cc but thats cos i only paid $600 for them....if you can save up for it then go for the nismo 555's they drop straight in like a few peeps have mentioned....check out a few traders and also keep an eye out on the for sale threads......
