Hi guys, I need new injectors to complete my build. I'm only chasing 350ish AWKW so I'm either going to get the SARD 700s or the Nismo 600s. The nismos are about $800 and the SARDS are just under $600 for a set without shipping or commission. I've heard of people having issues tuning with SARDS, no idea why that would be, I'm no mechanic.

Am I wasting my my money if I pay the extra for the nismos are they just a much of a muchness???

I had a similar dilemma and went with the Nismo's.

Don't know much about the Sards, but I don't mind paying a bit more for good quality stuff that you know is going to fit without fecking around with adaptors etc, and that's exactly what you get with the Nismo gear.

Good luck with it.

Cheers,

JD

I got my Sard 700's from Greenline.jp, worked out to something like $760 delivered 6 months ago.. i think RHDJapan.com is even cheaper delivered for Sard injectors. The only difference between the 600cc and 700cc injectors really, is that the bigger injectors will make it harder to get the idle right but a good tuner can easily overcome this.

Oh I might add this piece of info that I found when researching on these injectors.

Apparently the spray pattern of the Nismo ones are better. If someone can re-confirm this again it'll make your choice obvious (I'm 99% sure thats the case).

OK I've pretty much decided on the Nismos. I've seen two different types, there are the purple top ones that you see on Nengun and then the yahoo auctions have the black ones, is there any difference between the two??? They're both 600cc...

Sards need the collars from memory, so bit extra cost/stuffing around.

Nismo's drop straight in.

no they don't mate. you are thinking of RB25 stuff or something else all together. sard 700cc injectors are direct fit to the RB26 rail and inlet injector bosses. my only advice is buy new top and bottom o-rings.

personally I have used both the nismo 600cc injectors and the sard 700cc injectors. both in GTRs of mine and both with fairly similar set-ups and power goals and noticed no real difference between them.

if you are sure the 600s will provide enough fuel for you then by all means use them, but the sards are cheaper and flow more so there is a small advantage going that way I guess.

Yep the nismo's have a 4 pot spray (or thats what i think is called) and the sards only have 2 pot....i personally went to Nismo's as i dont mind paying for quality and reliability specially with fueling side of things

(pot spray meaning it has 4 holes and 2 holes respectively)
