Wiring Chopping?

ive heard all these different opinons and such about cutting wire "53" on an rb20 ecu. That is the vehicle speed sensor wire that will get rid of top speed limiter i belive??

If by cuttin this wire will anything else start playing up?? Or is there an aftermarket device that can get rid of this?? such as a copgy back ecu?

i think theres a way of getting it out by using a computer sort of like a remap but only gets rid of speed limiter, i think it was under $100 too. somebody mentioned it too me once because you can get rid of your rev limitier also. might be worth looking into that? saves you messing around with wiring. somebody correct me if im wrong

yes the yellow wire, just cut it, simple as that, wont affect anything else.
