negative boost (aka vacuum) reading normal?

ok on my boost gauge I have a negative boost reading as well.

when the car is idling at the lights it reads at -15 to -16 psi.

when the car is moving but with my foot off the accelerator it reads at -19 to -20 psi. Is this normal?

The car is a R32 GTS-t, the only engine mods being full 3" exhaust, bleed valve, blitz bov. still have the stock air box.

sounds normal for a vacuum reading. I take it also

reads above 0 on the positive side ( boost )

your gauge reads in PSI most read in inhg

for vacuum and PSI or Bar for pressure.

Sounds pretty normal mine goes to about -50 kpa when I back off quickly.

My gauge works 50% and doesn't work 50%, im guessing its just a vacuum leak in a hose somewhere but does this mean im low on boost or is it just my gauge that isn't working correctly?

when I'm on boost it reads positive.

so -20psi is normal?

on idle mine read - 0.5bar

I own a 1995 R33 and my vaccum reading (below positive boost)

15-20 at idle

10 at cruising

20-30 when I take my foot off the accelerater going 80-100km/h.

Everything sounds quite normal with your car

It will jump around a little depending on your acceleration.
