Hi All,

I have an R33 GTS25t with Power FC. I have noticed in the last 2 weeks or so that my knock levels seem to spike when I drive my car away from a standstill when it is not at full operating temp. This happens when I leave my home or work when the car has cooled off (water temp down to ambient air).

The knock level will spike up around 15 to 20 just as I begin to accelerate from a standstill GENTLY ie: low load, low boost etc. The spiking will continue for maybe another 30-60 secs before it decays completely and then never occurs again. I realise this is a low knock level, but it has only just begun to do this.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I'm thinking maybe the engine is a bit rattling before it is completely warmed up....as I let the water temp get to about 50 deg C before I drive it away from standstill. Other thoughts include a lazy injector, or a lazy pump....

Specs are: 3" cat back exhaust, large intercooler, 12 psi, Power FC, pod filter, w@nk BOV

danke

Dan
