Boost Guage Install

Guys, where do you mount your boost guage?

I bought a neat little Autometer 2 1/8 Phantom Boost Guage which looks hot, white facia and black dials, I wanted the single pod install, but after going to Autobarn, i had second thoughts, as they all looked crap. So i mounted onto the steering column, which looks good, doesnt impair any vision to the dash, but i won't tell you what i tied it down with, cable ties. But until i find a good pod or mount, im leaving it there .

Any advice??

what about one of those dash mount pods and attatch that to your steering column?...

I mounted mine in place of the rh dash vent, but now i miss the cool air on my right hand! You could try using a PVC elbow (water pipe) but then it could obstruct your view a little.

If you can do some plastic work etc... you could put it down in place of the ash tray... my ashtray is missing and mine fits in there... havn't installed it there but dummied it to see if it would fit... mines 2 1/16 though i think...
