what would u look for in the rb30 block/crank in order for u to pick the right block for rb26 4wd high HP conversion ?

What do you classify as high HP?

Heaps of old Rb30's are doing fine, if you really care though, call up Nissan and get a new one

make sure its one with the oil return in the bottom, the oil supply and coolant supply on the exhaust side....

some of the earlier ones dont have them apparently.

probably get lowest kms

IIRC. All R31 Skyline RB30's have the turbo oil\water feed.

Late VL's all had the old\water feed, early VL did not.

Also make sure you have the machined flat surface underneath the water pump for the idler re-location.

This doesn't seem to have anything to do with year, as I got a late VL block once with oil/water feeds but no flat surface.

It's just shitfull having to make up a spacer for it.
