SAU WA Car Club

Hey All,

Just wondering if there is any updates on wats going on with the idea of the SAUWA Club.

Well the dyno day we just ran on the weekend has raised enough money (thanks SST) to form the incorporated club, so we'll be doing that ASAP, and the commitee will be meeting again soon.

Unfortunately due to the server crash we lost alot of info, so we'll start posting more club details up soon:D

i dont know if ive ever talked to you about that subject, by my thoughts on it are well known.

We must have something to show membership.

I think we should get SAU key rings made and numbered

and sold at near cost as membership ID.

This will look after club sponsors when people come in asking for club discounts etc and ID people at club functions were club funds are used.

Yes there will be a membership fee, how much has yet to be decided, but it will filter out the people who are just forum users from those who want to actively participate in club activities:D

Will the club be for only nissan/skyline owners - or will it be open to others - like myself who is a former skyline owner.

Dan, SAU has always been welcoming of other import owners, I can't see that changing with the SAUWA club, but obviously our emphasis will be more towards Skylines.

Be to a member of an incorporated club, under the Incorporation Act, I believe that you have to pay some form of membership fee.

Why are you guys becoming incorporated anyway? Going to become CAMS affiliated etc?

You don't need a Skyline to join,But if you don't get one within 3 months "You Vill be shot"

Personally I think that all members should own a skyline. It is Skylines WA after all. Maybe non offical club meetings/cruises etc, could include other makes.

Not to shut others out or anything.
