haha.. i jus unplug my battery or port the short breaker. even the pro's dont think oh hell his unplugged the battery. also removing a certain thing in the engine bay (not gonna say as i don trust you guys) will stop someone stealing ya car unless they tow it ofcourse but still good luck to them starting it. bahaha and no you wouldnt be able to steal it so dont suggest it unless you have a tow truck handy lol..

but regawrdless deck your car with alarms. and also get a throttle lock sits under the peddle and stops it from being pushed down meaning they can start it but not move it. they could easily remove it in 5 mins but hell in 5 mins id be there will a base ball bath and beating the life out of them.

Don't mean to hijack your thread, but im just curious how thieves get through conventional security devices, e.g. steering wheel locks and wheel clamps are they difficult to get past at all?

common tools will take care of most of them. not going into detail but a bit of thought into your question will answer it.

rekin,

pretty much summed it up there. I tend to look for the noise and then move on.

that wont stop anyone, a tow truck fixes that problem in 30 seconds or less.

Thats true but if they come unprepared there screwed. it will deter most thieves which would be a plus.but as everyone says if a pro wants your car he ll take it.also if they do get away with it the lock is a biatch to get off. but like i say no security is full proof

aye!!

i installed my immobilizer and in doing so pretty much found out how easy it is to steal one with out it, personally, immobilizer plus insurance is as far as im goin, itll stop dumbshits, and anyone smart enough to get round it will treat your car with absolute respect after they've stolen it :)

just try not to advertise your car as theft worthy. or have super sweet stupid alarm with theyll get by and the cops arent goin to be too much help once theyve made off with it neways.

I also used to have this problem, and my work was pretty far away from my home so public transport was not an option. And doing nothing hoping for the bset is not for me either. I solved it for myself by applying Xeoma to monitor the parking lot. It's simply great ! now I'm feeling safe, go on and try it guys
