There are plenty of spares getting about, I could have sent you three relays, no need to hack up the loom to fit generic relays.

Great you got it fixed though, Name the importer, they should have fixed it for free if you bought it through them, they hand picked the car for you didn't they?

He didn't hack the loom, he made up wires to go between them, so no problem there. As the car is over ten years old they don't have to give a warranty in NSW. Didn't know any of this until I got the paper work two weeks later. He did pay for the late fees on the rego & a $100 towards the brakes.

I know it is an old topic but a quick question

 

whether the harm if you drive a longer distance that the 4wd indicator light is on.

always the same fault, pressure switch

Before did not come on while driving. now comes a certain interval while driving
