I believe the illegal drift symbol in japan is a cats head. Not bleeding or any thing... Kinda like the play boy bunny. if you get a car with a cats head you know its a japanese drifter at heart....

Most drifters use the name of the shop that works on their cars (the shop name would be synonimous with drifting) or they have some kind of comment like "Drift Forever" or "Midnight Club" or something like that...

Theres no sanctioned symbol... unless you want to put "D1" on your car.

That's Japanese for "Drift".

And that "cat" is actually a monkey... As mentioned, it's the symbol of the drifting company Uras, which is "Saru" backwards, which means "monkey".

Why? Because Nomura-san the owner of Uras........... looks like a monkey

The team n3rd kanji above is utsuru - and it's meaning is to move (with the connotation of transfer or shift), so it's not a bad definition.

monkeys dont have wiskers.. cats do.. its acualy a drift cat and apparently you put them on ya car if you have an accident. there is also the uras monkey. but most ppl have the drift CAT on their car.

my old 180sx was ex drift, and it had these stickers on it, never found out what they were (the kanji ones that is).

i guess the names from ken nomura (uras er34 d1gp drifter) = nomuken

cross nomuken with dori-mon or something, haha. maybe rezz can tell us what mon means.
