That was katakana, not kanji... Katakana is the japanese character set used for words borrowed from other languages, like "drift"

And yeah, I installed the Japanese Language/Regional Settings in Windows and I'm able to swap between english and japanese (all three character sets)

Ahhh... I see...

Nope, It's actually an option in Windows... You install two locations.

Australia, and Japan.

And it installs character sets for both languages on your computer. You get a little toolbar where you can choose your lanugage set and the same thing happens when you choose Japanese.

Type in bakamono and you get ばかもの... No need for 3rd party software, Windows does it all

the kanji on the whit sticker above says wangan, i believe it is the name of a highway here in japan that is possibly famous for racing.... i think theres maybe a tuning shop by that name too

Middle one monkey... the bottom one says "ichiban".
