Trent - I'm pretty sure that mine are from a different place as they don't sell the T67  mind pm'ing me their details

Also, you mentioned the inferior performance above, was that relating to the Kando ones? Do the ones you get have the same characteristics of slightly inferior performance? I have a Genuine L2 and one of my copy ones here, and will be doing back to back in the next few weeks as you now have me curious. Pulled apart side by side I can't spot the difference even up close.

Zebra - Pm'd

Yeah the average ones are all the internal gated Td06sL2-20g turbos, some have evo footprint some have T28, the t28 was average, but the evo setup was pretty good. The t28 footprint L2 was 20-30rwkw off the target set by a genuine one.

The like for like turbos from kando and the "other" place like the T518Z (int gate) T67 (ex gate) and L2 (ex gate) which have the same mounting foot print are so close in power results it aint funny.

We just fininshed a t67 t3 foot print ex gate on a 6boost manifold and it mirrored a full trust T67 kit.. both good mates and customers who have plenty of r&d time on the dyno. Needless to say even i was super impressed by the results.

i reckon the ex gate turbos are a winner regardless, the int gate turbos are average with only the T518z being close to the original.

c= no stepped compressor ie 12 or 14 blade comp wheel and flat back wheel

g= stepped comp wheel (normal type 1 high 1 low etc etc) and superback (curved back side for higher strength)

L2 has a larger thust bearing i believe

h is larger turbine

yes?
