Since it's your car, wouldn't you want it to be "roadworthy"?

Instead of JUST passing roadworthy so you can drive it? :P

Roadworthy shouldn't be hard to get, if you own the car or buying it. Most mechanics will be tighter when people sell the car, but if they own it and just wants to be transferred, it should be fine. What you can do is, bring it to a few places, and tell them what is wrong with your car (if you know it), then ask them if it will pass or not. Also tell them the car is yours and your not selling it.
