Different Wheels Size On R35 Gtr !

as long as you maintain the same diameter / height front to back you will be ok. ie. the combined height of wheel + tyre needs to be the SAME (or within about 2%) front to back, otherwise VDC will kick in (thinks you are wheel spinning). So yes in theory you can run a different diameter wheel, as long as the tyre size/profile compensates to make the front and back wheel+tyre the same approx height. Hope ths makes sense.

You might want to think about the tyre pressure monitor thing too.

how about the offset, how much different in offset can the R35 run?

A few of us have run some pretty odd offsets, the computers don't really care. Obviously there are other issues which affect every car.

yeh no issues here running larger and wider sizes, in fact the car feels even more planted and comfortable on the road

though i played it safe, and went same size increase all around - so that's 1" wider and 1" taller than stock

i put new oem sensors in my new wheels and the dealer cant get them to pair up. Last resort will be either to buy them from an Aussie dealer and cross my fingers they work, or pull apart my stock wheels and take the sensors out of those - a job for when i cbf, atm im just ignoring the light on the dash

so as long as the diameter the same the offset really doesn't make any issue with the GTR ATTESA system?

Would previous model (R34) be affected if the offset different? I hardly seen the old model running on different offset (maybe I am blind lol)

Correct r35 doesn't care about offsets, some of us have run some pretty stupid offsets, mainly due to limited wheel choice. Equal diameter front vs rear is important however. Must be within 2% or thereabouts. My experience is that anything less than 640mm height has issues too.

Sorry I have NFI about the r34 system.

R34 AWD system doesn't care about offset either but like all GTRs they need as much front grip as possible. more front track gives you some more grip so most run same offset front and rear. there is no point having your wheels stick further out in the rear just cause it looks cool. all it does is make the car handle poorly.

Problem being thanks to the hella flush fitment/stretched tyre brigade you cant even get proper sized & offset rims anymore to suit the tyres you want to run.
