I have done the search on the forum so don't blast me too quickly.

I have done the method of pressing the drivers side button switch when the car starts but the light reamins to stay on.

Most peoples I have read they say their airbag light flashes, my air bag light is solid...whats the difference?

Any suggestions on getting rid of the light? I took the car to Nissan and they said they hook it up to the computer and they charge $120 per hour lol. . .

Well, obvious first, the light is on solid because something is wrong.

When the light is on solid it's ready to deploy.

Usually its just a fuse blown, check the SRS and ELEC. BATT fuses.

If they're fine, drain your battery for atleast an hour, and check all your connections.

Drain the battery because they do have their own short backup power so that they can deploy in an accident where the battery terminals come off.

If you still can't fix it, drive it nicely (and avoid any harsh bumps) to Nissan or a workshop and get them to fix it. Not really worth the broken nose if you just ignore it.
