  • id just buy sum splitfires, or the cheaper 1ns
im pretty sure thats what im gonna do. from the responses on here iam certain thats what the problem is. and jason is that your car on youtube goin up a mountain or sumfin?

the engine light comes on about 20 mins after driving it. when i stop it starts to shutter then the light comes on and it goes away when i turn it off and back on. i think i might just buy one of those cord things that go in my computer and if it says error code 21 i can say that it is my coils. and he probably thinks i was talking about my coils coz i just had new springs put in by him.

im quite sure someone on page 1 posted an attachment of the instructions to check the codes yourself with a paperclip or piece of bridging wire. its super easy and free, it will tell you what wrong.

lol! i have no idea dude, i didnt post nuffin up so unless sum1 else did :P ... whats the address or whateva???

im currently having a similar problem, i drive a 99' n/a 34 auto

it started a while ago, i was driving and i noticed when i had stopped at a red light my car was idling at a lower revs and the car would feel like it was about to stall, i then lightly tapped on the gas and the revs dropped car almost stalled, all warning lights came up, revs went back to idle

someone told me my afm might be dirty, i gave it a bit of a clean and i didnt get that problem after it but it still seems to be idling at low revs, its kinda like when you hold a clutch just over friction point and you'd feel like you were about to stall

im thinking of changing my coils, but would it fix this problem ?

    • I used the radium thing, makes the whole parallel assembly a lot more compact compared to any other way of doing it
    • Racetronix also sells those ethanol content sensor bypass blocks. Adapter, Flex-Fuel E85 Sensor High-Flow Bypass, In-line No Sensor (ADF-FLEX-NS): Adapters - Flex Fuel | Racetronix Ethanol content sensor are originally designed to be on the feed line. These bypass blocks are meant to be ran in the feed line and not return. The continental ethanol content sensors have a 3/8" ID and not 5/16". This is why they are ran on the return line directly in conjunction with a low threshold sampling value VS in the feed with one of these blocks.    Haha we think alike, I used both original feed/return for 8AN feed, and one of the Hicas lines as a 6AN return. I also capped off and left the other Hicas line as a spare.
    • Interesting, I haven't read about the issue with oil getting into the speedo in the cluster before. I'll have to take more notice with mine. The speedo on my R32's when I've run factory diff and tyre size have never been accurate as far as I can remember. The non Type-M GTS-t did come with 15" 5 stud wheels and smaller brakes, but that's less than 5% of them.
    • Good to hear the condenser you picked up off my brother worked all good. Do you think there could be an issue with your AC compressor itself or the clutch on it then? I don't know a lot about them so I can't really help but keen to hear what it ends up being. Keep the build thread going man, it's nice to look back on over time.
