M35 Injector Upgrade

I need to upgrade my injectors as they are running flat out. Any idea which injectors I need to look at that fit? I bought a tomei pump today, just need bigger squirters.

i think anything that is top-feed will work. assuming they are larger than the factory size. im not sure that size is quoted in the manual, but its at home if youd like me to check?

try something from a RB26, but to be honest i have no idea what sort of flow capacity they are rated at.

maybe even VQ35DE upgraded injectors will be enough

Im looking at 600cc at least I recon, to allow further mods and E85 without getting near over-driving. I want to avoid running high pressure too. Is there one brand that stands out, especially with ethanol?

SR20? they are side feed, im 99% sure we have top feed.

except FWD SR20s, i think they are top feed.

nismo make 550cc and 700cc injectors. they may have a part that fits!

You are correct iain... no SR20.

M35 - VQ25det (obviously)

R34 - RB25det

You are only maxing the flow due to running rich, my advice is to get an Emanage install to lean out the mixture and see how you go. The stock injectors should be good to around 200awkw and I dont think you are there yet.

If you decide you need new injectors, a Walbro or preferably a Nismo/Tomei pump is required also. I would suggest 550cc minimum as stock is 370cc, the second set are drop in with no plug changes.

theres a couple of 350z nismo pumps on ebayfor about $100 does this seem right?

plus $500.00 for plugs

plus $1500 for emanage install tune.

Emanage first, you only have to upgrade the pump/injectors if the AFR's are leaning, the tuner will advise that.

Emanage : $650 second hand

Install/Tune: $650

yeh theres a emanage n loom for total $550 shipped to melb.. i reckon drive carefully for a little while n check what the prices are like in december. hopefully we still have the same exchange rate lol
