Good Driving Roads In And Around Kansai

I'm taking the MR2 up for its first big road trip this weekend from Shikoku into Kansai.

3 days worth, first day and evening in and around Himeji and Rokko-san. I have heard Rokko-san is popular among the Kansai drift/touge crowd. It's a Saturday night too, so hopefully might find something worthwhile. Following two days will be in and around Osaka and Kyoto.

Any ideas of nice roads, places to check out? I have a fresh set of Teins, new tyres, and 1.3 bar of boost from my TD06 to test, so please, any ideas or recommendations of quality roads/nice drives please tell me :)

Its a bit late but ryuujin skyline and ikoma skyline are amazing roads. ryuujin can get a bit crowded on weekends with gangs of touring motorbikes but late afternoon/early evening is good. Ikoma skyline is a toll road (1200yen) so theres rarely any traffic.

      One would assume a turbo is somewhere in its future down the line given they slap turbos on pretty much everything that arrives

      I would be lying if I said I wasn't interested in what MCM were going to do with the NC I really enjoy their banter and occasional collaborations (like Alan from TSF, Ben from BCW, or any of the Haltech guys throwing around their experience), and I have probably watched everything they have put out

      Not yet, we basically drove it to a private road, got the logs and drove it straight back. I think I need a new passenger seat belt after the mrs squeezed the life out of it.
