Quick Question About Turbo

hey guys

just wondering whats the difference between the rb20 and a rb25 turbo!

i just pulled my stock one out and on the actuator its say rb25 so i was suprised!

RB20 turbochargers do not flow as much as an RB25 turbo.

There are variants of both so I am not going to quote identification marks.

There are a few threads about it if you search.

The consensus being early RB25 turbo with RB20 actuator (10psi, not 5/7 like on RB25) should see good results.

what engine do you have... it's reasonably common to use a rb25 turbo as an upgrade on a rb20...

You kept asking Tech questions in Vic section where you should really post them in the Performance section. RB25 spool up quicker from memory.

Too true. There is probably eleventybillion threads about it, but pointing him in the right direction is not hard

I can understand that getting these questions daily is annoying but there is a lot to be said about being hospitable.
