Hi All

I'm IronChop aka Bjoern Fredriksen, I'm probably better known as one of the automotive artists to voulenteer to administer autemo.com(some of you might know me from there)... I see someone else has registered with "autemo" as a username recently... Wonder who that might be...

Anyway, the intro thread is a nice place to plug what autemo is about, as it really is a big part of me :P.

It's an online car customization service, an online place where you can 'post' images of your car and professional artists will digital modify it (called 'chopping'). Autemo gives you something to show the guys who will be modifying your car, and prevents you from making costly mistakes. =)...

Anyway, I love cars & Skylines, and look forward to being a productive member of this forum.

haha are you for real? most people do that themselves or just ask another forum member to do so (not just on SAU either lol)

Yup, we're for real (and there's hundreds of us :(). Oh, I doubt "most people" have the skill to chop their car so they can see what the mods they have in mind will really look like on their car.

In-fact one of our recent clients was a SAU user :wub:.

      Quick update Guys , managed to get the water pump replaced . I first my mechanic went back and forth with Nissan AU (4 weeks) and they weren't much help, at the end they noted something about not supporting imports. So I soured the part myself from Japan. If anyone has similar issue here is the part numbers  Genuine Nissan PUMP ASSY-WATER - 21010-4HK0E Genuine Nissan Gasket - 21014-4HK0A  Cost me about $230 including shipping (I had in within 10 days thanks to Blackhawk in Japan)  They are basically the same as the Red Sport or even the new Zed - here is link to a supplier in US who helped me confirm the parts matched  https://www.z1motorsports.com/water-pump-fan-and-thermostat/nissan/oem-14-20-vr30ddtt-water-pump-p-10167.html You can change it yourself if you like , but I had my local workshop do it , it was about 5 hours of labour.  Cheers  Pac

      +1 for these guys, they just made me a custom muffler for another car (old Merc V8 not a Skyline) and they are legends to work with and do very nice work at a reasonable price.

      Alright well now I’m confused, some people saying yes and others saying no. How would I modify my hydraulic lifter? Iv already pulled them apart to clean them so I know how to do that but what would I change inside the lifter to make it solid? And how would that work with clearance between the lifter and the cam?

      You guys are welcomed to come flog mine, just don't upset my wife and don't park her in if she needs to go out to pilates in the morning. If you can leave the wheels behind, that would be great 😅
