agreed. I reckon loftus in his starlet would be pretty hard to beat in the FWD class or 2L class. coming down the straight it sounds like it's about to suck you into it... definitely gee him up for it dave.

H Jess Just wanting to let every body know thats running superlap, we will be there - tools, jacks etc available to anyone travelling to save the hassle of transporting the heavy crap if it helps!

Were supposed to be in the Yokohama tent, if not silver R33 car 112.

If we got it, your can have it just bring it back.

Here are a couple of photos of turn one just after Russ's "moment" ...

There was a brake issue but Russ managed to slow the car with the handbrake heading into turn one - pretty amazing bit of driving really. It just touched the wall on the inside of turn one. It did look like a pretty wild ride though.

We were out there last Wednesday with Mark Berry doing some aero testing on the R34 ... the R34 is now running one of our Aeromotions Dynamic Wings ...

There is a video here of the R34 on the test day at Eastern Creek shot by Andrew Hawkins from Motive DVD with some in car footage of the R34 ...

Any reason why the leading edge on the front lower lip is angled up? The car does look crazy/scary fast to drive. Looks like it needs a powerglide

yeah mate , i had skid marks as long as the ones in the photos! lol

i dont want that to ever happen again , took me really by surprise, brakes had been perfect all day.

i was probably doing about 265-270 when i rolled off the throttle and went for the brake and it went to the firewall! twice , then i went for the handbrake

the car is okay , mark reckons it will buff right out! haha... should be right in a few weeks, pulled engine and gearbox out it, while we were at to make way for the new holinger

p.s oh my god the r34 is handling like shit!! video shows just how bad. the 4wd is STILL an issue and now it has quite a bit more power so it just makes it harder to handle. i hope it is sorted soon

I saw the marks on the track (not your undies) a couple of days after you were at the creek and thought wtf!? haha

I was suppose to be there on the same day but had a date clash.

It is a reality check and makes you realise how quick you are travelling at around the creek. Well done on the save....could have been much much worse

the r34 doesnt look real nice at the moment, but some headway has been made this week

the worst thing about the video is, there is a 50 mm pressure gauge for the 4wd pressures right in front of the gearstick , great when your looking from the drivers seat

but shithouse when your trying to look on the video!! hahaha

Pressure transducer into a data logger, you get wheel speeds, engine rpms, point of the track. Hell you can tag G seonsors as well

So guys, how many fast laps can one expect to get in? I'm wanting to decide on the tyre to run.

Benny, I think they are planning on only having 12 cars on the track in each Open sesion (which will probably be the biggest groups)...or around that figure. As long as people watch there mirrors and car's are of similar speed, I cannot see why you would not have a clear track for the whole session, as it is nearly 4kms in length.

Pro class will be even less traffic
