its a custom built RB32 from signature performance in Ipswich, Mick built it and drives it and has had it for the 3 or 4 years i have known him. Noel knows more about power figues and the like but it is very impressive. He had a lot of trouble getting the power down

that we did for sure,

as Fine line said, we made allot of changes in the lead up to super lap but really ran out of time, even down to changing brake rotors at midnight, the night before we left.

thursday practise saw a few more dramas with us blowing a diff up (just got too hot and the lsd gave way) a phone call to Nismo saw the QLD rep ringing around for us thursday night/friday morning and by 10AM friday we had a brand new Nismo 2 way lsd sitting on the pit bay floor. My mechanic and i then frantically re-built the diff, missing the first session of the weekend.

the diff helped but turned out that wasn't our only issue, with the car unstable through corners we pulled the boost back and made it easier to drive- the car got better lap times with less power-

on the positive note though, eastern creek was a great track to drive and the event was awesome, lots of fun had by all,

we will be going back next year for sure.

our data logger was showing a gps speed of 258 kph down the straight, the fastest ive been in that car, with turn one approaching at those speeds it gave me a great deal of respect for the pro guys who hardly brake for that corner,

yeah we'll be going strong next year, develop the car further, we have a drive train thats bullet proof now, so we just need to get it to turn corners,

Agreed!

It was awesome to see you down there Mick! With a full year to develop what is already a strong base you should have a really good event next year.

Personally I loved the thing, was one of the quickest looking cars out there each session. Looks like a heap of fun to drive too, like a big go kart!

Did you wear ear plugs when driving it?

same here... it was the most memorable car of the event... and it sure wasnt slow..

If i was driving something that loud it would want to be a lot damn quicker than that.

Had a bunch of honda fanboiz in front of us in the stands and even they cringed when it went past,

The silver s2000 was another story though, That thing was porn.

You dont happen to have another front bar/splitter lying about for sale do you?

I like that red S2000, sounded very nice at full noise

maybe,

the front bar/splitter (along with the other aftermarket panels) is one that we made here in the shop, its a carbon fibre composote and worked really really well,

we made it as we couldn't find anything that would do the job we wanted in the way we wanted, since making it we have had allot of interest in them.

we will soon be producing them and offering them up for sale, stay tuned
