Quick Help With Turbo!

hey guy

i purchased a r33 turbo that was rebuilt and high flowed very long ago but never got around to fitting it.

Now ive decided to fit it, but the thing is i don't know which one is for water in and out also oil in and out.

is there any markings on the turbo i should look for or anything?

i will get pictures of the turbo up very soon!

if you cannot work that out using plain old common sense, maybe you shouldn't be fitting a turbo.

i'd guess that there are 4 ports on your turbo, two will be large and they'll be the water, one will be an oil drain and you should be able to work out which it is, from the way it mounts on the manifold, being that it drains into the sump or where ever. only leaves one port left for oil input.

doesnt take a genius to work that one out.....

top is oil, bottom elbow is oil and other two are water?

yer i know sry i forgot to mention that the turbo housing was moved around to fit another car.

i know which is oil and water but how do tell if its in or out.

The M18mm whole is for water and the M12 whole is for oil. Oil feeding port must be facing up. If this is a Sleeve bearing turbo you must use a Dash 3 oil feeding line and fittings

when you get the old turbo off spin the housings around to match the old one and every thing should line up.
