Series 2 Rear Brake Pads

r31 rear pads (1144) fit a series 2?

everytime i mention 1399 to any spare parts here their face screws up like they have eaten a lemon.

the above brake thread has proven usefull if i want to put gtr brakes on but no real confirmation of the partnumber i need.

i mentioned the 1399 to my mechanic to order in and they will not fit an "unknown part" to a "special vehicle"

they asked nissan and the boffins there think (not know for sure) that the genuine replacements will be ex japan, cost $300 , and be here in 2 weeks.

i leave here towing a mighty big trailer in 2 weeks...

i wanted to book in the car to my mechanic (because they are the only one to at least touch it) to do an early oil change and rear pads in one hit.

i also called my mate back home (in adelaide) for advice and all he can find is a listing as "stagea" 1144 - r31 equiv - which everyone stocks here but in accordance to the brake thread is for a s1 caliper...

so i need confirmation of the right pad to use and which hopefully is readily available w/o resorting to the ones on ebay...

called GSL Rallysport and got the right ones

Confirming yes they are 1399 for s2

that is all - lock or delete
