hi

i got a bit of a noob question i guess. ive been lucky enough recently to acquire an original a13 jack and all the tools, including the wheel stoppers.

ive had a look thru the boot and cant work out how or where the jack is meant to sit. there looks like some sort of mouting area on the right of the boot which sits near the wheel arch... is this for the jack? if it is, how do u mount it?

is there a dedicated place for the wheel stoppers?

thanks for any help

cheers

ray

Not too sure with the Ceffies man, but that area you described sounds right, its a big area with nothing to occupy it so it'd have to be it.

In this thread, I attatched a pic of how my Maxima holds the jack...this may be different in the Ceffy/R34s, etc. Have a good read and a look at that pic.

Should make sense :P

My cefiro had the factory jack and wheel chocks.

On the right hand side of the boot, the jack sits in there (can't remember if you wedge it in, or if you put it in place and wind the jack open to hold it secure). The wheel chocks then just sit down the side of the jack.

im starting to think that maybe the stuff i bought of yahoo japan auctions isnt actually stock a31 gear... maybe its for an a32. i cant fit the jack in anyway, the mount for it weird... ill take a pic a and post it up, see what u guys think

My mum has an A33 or A34, the wheel sits flush with the floor in the boot, carpet goes over the top, but the jack and tools still sit off to the driver's side, and A32 onwards are all pretty much identical, the A3x chassis only changes when it becomes A35+ (US) and J31+ (Everywhere else).

Otherwise just put it inside your spare wheel maybe.

Same as my c33, jack goes in the right hand side of the boot upside down with the mounting point that grabs the chasis sitting in a north south position with the jack winder facing the taillights. The two orange wheel stoppers sit on top of the jack in a back to front 7 shape with the teeth going in first on the left hand side of the jack. Wind the jack up and the wheel stoppers will press up against the lip that is meant to catch it.
