Gettong A Set Of Works Will Offset Be Ok?

hey guys im getting a set of Work Vs wheels on sunday in 18x8.5 and 9.5s with a +40 and +45 offset just want to be sure they will fit ok on a 33 gtst.

any help is appreciated

they will fit but wont look too good.

also depends what sort of look you want as well as whether if you wanting to fit stretch tyres!

conservative fit

18x8.5 around +30-35

18x9.5 around +30-35

agressive fit i.e. rims sticking out

18x8.5 around +12-20

18x9.5 around +12-20

tru thanks mate at the moment ive got super advans and theyre not really my thing. These wheels are coming off a 180 hence im asking so will that mean they wont fill the guards much or???

Yeah the high offset will mean they wont fill the guards. U could run spacers though, but check your insurance policy.

25mm spacers all round for a nice fit.

They are coming as a swap plus cash for a shit box i got in the back yard.

with 25mm spacers will i need to get longer studs????

Generally for insurance purposes as long as it passes a road worthy its fine to have them, however as alot of companies dont like to insure any modifications I would recommend to double check.

You can run 20-25mm spacers, would recommend as long as u can get about 10 turns on the nuts should be good, but you are always running a risk, so no street drifting

I'm lookin at running 18 x 10 with somewhere from a negative offset to +20 depending how it looks on what I finally get most likely Volks

I say 15mm bolt on spacers from JJ... safer IMO and 15mm should get you to closer to acceptable offset (not sticking out too far)
