Ok, so I've bought myself a set of Nismo side and front indicators...cost me over $240. The side ones are already smoked (so I will leave them) - the front ones are just clear...I've been to Autobarn and they actually sell "smoking spray paint."

They say if I spray like 5mm away and do it gently, 2 coats should do the trick they'll last like forever...however, I'm just a bit hesitant as I do not want to stuff up my front indicators that cost like $170 a set. So can anyone please give me some tips in regard to spraying?

Thanks.

SM

Does anyone in your family know a potter?

WTF is a potter you say?

Hehe, a potter who makes pottery, will have a potter's wheel.

You stick the front indicator down with some clay in the middle of the wheel and turn it > spray it at a slight angle (with your hand only having to stay in the one fixed position) = simple.

It's a case of the right tool making a hard job easy.

Try it on your old indicator as a dummy run.

Hey mate....I'm Asian...no Potters in my family...only clothing store owners, restaurant owners and bread shop owners! LOL :)

However, I see your point. Oh well, get that idea won't work for me. Yeah, I'll try it on my own set of indicators...apparently, a few people want to do this so I'll keep everyone posted...I'm going to buy the "Smokey paint" from Autobarn this weekend and will go for my life...will post up pictures and instructions then. Wish me luck! :)
