Hi Guys,

Putting up my motorbike for sale to fund the cars for my wedding. :D

Anyhow specs

95 model Suzuki Across 53,000klms.

12months rego

4cyl 250cc (doesn't sound like a lawnmower, sound often mistaken for a 600cc).

Recently changed spark plugs, oil and had carby serviced.

New battery.

Bike has compartment where fuel tank is suppose to be, its to store your helmet in and other things (very handy).

Very fuel effecient,

New throttle slides/holders (common problem with these bikes).

Runs perfect.

I have had the bike for the last seven years, never ever a problem with it, extremely reliable.

Fuel Consumption is around 5L/100klms..

It is mostly known as a practical bike, due to its rear petrol tank and a fully enclosed helmet storage area where the petrol tank usually is. It is sometimes referred to as the 'handbag' due to its practicality. It is known to have reasonably light handling, good fuel economy, sufficient power, and a comfortable riding posture, making it a desirable first motorcycle for new riders or people who want to enter the sport bike scene. It is, however, approximately 20 kg heavier than most aluminum 250cc competitors due to its steel frame.

The Across is a remarkably powerful motorcycle for its engine size. It features a 4-stroke 248cc DOHC 16 valve 4 cylinder engine featuring a CDI unit and four carburettors. The engine revs up to 16500rpm and makes 45hp.

    • Connected to plenum towards the rear end. Yes, absolutely required for the ECU. Even Nistune can't save you if you don't have it.
    • Can confirm solenoid makes no difference. I finally removed the solenoid and the wire off my engine loom and there is no issue with boost. Keep in mind, this is the solenoid, and I've got a Nistune. After the boost controller, I ran the car for a day with the solenoid unplugged - no issue. So then I just ripped the whole thing out. Like @GTSBoy mentioned before, the ECU just sends an earth signal for the 2-stage boost. And looking at the wire going into the solenoid, that just had 2 standard wires and did not look important 🤣 As for boost sensor: I saw somewhere that the vacuum line the gauge uses is at the back of the engine on the driver side. I never touched that but assume ECU uses that??? (maybe? Just assuming)
    • I still remember it trying to rip the steering wheel out of my hand when I put it into a 4wd power slide lol
    • Im also amazed how well Attessa holds up to all of the abuse. Especially with the burnouts and crap you guys used to do at Texi!
    • True! I think I'm closer to 06 with the cameras in phones being out there more. And the nearly impossible to use internet web browsers. Or paying for ring tones... Man I hated when we couldn't just compose a ringtone on a Nokia anymore! These days I just hate it if my phone rings, beeps, boops, or vibrates!
