V35 Skyline

I've heard that rumour about the engine assisted twin turbo sorta like a semi supercharged twin turbo setup. That would be sweet as.

It will also make it the worlds first supercar that comes with readily available aftermarket upgrades. If you think about it there's not many supercars out there that have companies like HKS, GReddy, Blitz etc etc all making aftermarket parts. Making it a very lucrative car. Even if you don't find the every day to day buyer getting one, you will definitely see a lot of people looking at the car with an analytical eye, comparing it to cars like Porshe's Aston Martins and Lotus' and seeing that its got a better range of post purchase options.

The reason the R32 flopped was back then Japanese companies had no impact on Australian automotive products, wheras now they are only a mouse click and a parcel away. Globalisation is a funny thing.

have you seen the price to upgrade any euro super, lets just say rims and exhaust, a mate at work just put new rims on his M3 12,000 now they are 19" but thats a little over the top. then just to fix a panel is also up there!!

ur comparing japanese cars with euro cars IMO most ppl will go for a euro over a jap

and to be honest so would i

if i could affort an M3 or a C36 AMG i would take either over any japanese car

i have been brought up around mercs, bmws, jags and ferraris so i have a perferance towards euros

IMHO u cant compare a jap car to a euro in anything apart from performance

2 totally different leauges as i see it

just my 2c

*gets ready to be flamed*

2GU UP,

I suppose everyones different. We recently picked our 2003 E55 V8 350kw V8 Supercharged, & yes it is devine, devistatingly fast, but honestly I prefer to drive the GTR, it feels lighter, it handles better & the build quality "depending on the car you buy" isn't benz but as good as the porsches. I had orders on 2 car late next early 05, the upcaoming GTR or the Aston Martin AMV8 "from Silverstone in Doncaster - I think I was the first n Aus to confirm an order" see attachment. To be honest with you the AMV8 is the most beautiful car I have ever seen, but to me the GTR at approx ~half the price of the AMV8 is worth every cent. Would I pay it for a Supra NO!, NSX NO! a GTR ...anyday :D

someone said they seen one in brisbane so im confsued now

The one u saw could either be:

1. personal imports in which the owner must live & own the car overseas for at least 12 months and have proofs. it can be brought freely as personal import.

2. a sample that is imported by a registered automotive workshop (RAWS) in order to apply compliance for the specific vehicle model.

3. v35 compliance may have been out already, but I dunno... or...

4. it's illegally brought in.
