Hey guys, iv been havin problems wid ma headlights, they jus in such bad shape, i buff them every now and then, but they still scratched, have cracks on the inside and are glaizy. i took it to a headlight repairer and re reckons i should jus buy a new set, only prob is they very expensive. i don want to go for an aftermarket set cuz i might have probs wid the HId kit i recently installed. Any recomendations or advice.

when you say buff, do you using your hand or a rotary buffer?

For my headlights, I apply a light cutting compound and use a rotary buffer to buff any imperfections out, then I apply some wet look polish on them, they come out real nice after that.

if it fails and you ever decided to buy a pair of new headlights, for whatever reasons do not buy USDM Infiniti G35 headlights, as they're designed for LHD and will shine your lights towards oncoming drivers instead of towards the pedestrian. If it causes an accident your insurer will deny any cover.
