hey guys and girls,

i am replacing my tail shaft becoz its creamed. anyways i went to look at 2 tailshafts today and one of them was just a normal r31 tailshaft and the other had been customized. it didnt have a centre bearing. so its just a straight tail shaft.

Any ideas if there any good or not coz i know the r31`s are a on going problems for having centre tailshaft bearing replaced ? its gonna save me money in the long run but what are they like to drive

Cheers

Kayla

1 piece tailshafts in 31s are fine, diff and gearbox angles suit a 1 piece and there is no clearance issues with the floorpan (unless its DUMPED with 4 blokes in it)

however, they do need to be balanced correctly

i have one in mine and its great :)
