Everyone loves and respects a quality piece of machinery when they see it, regardless of where its from.

I rock up to meets and have people who drive GTRs come over and ask me to pop the hood. I tell them its a stock NA, but they don't care, everyone loves the 2J.

I have much respect for the 1jz and 2jz engines (both turbo and non-turbo). They put out amazing torque for their size, and somewhat a little more basic in design than the RBs.

Pretty good engine. Lots of torque over the range in comparison to the N/A RBs. Too bad it ain't a Nissan engine

No replacement for displacement

RB25. Good motor, revs good, weak bottom end though. Too bad it ain't a Toyota motor

Get yourself an L28 and work the tits off it. It'll look more at home in the engine bay than an RB, and the cops won't look twice at it
