I need some DR30 info

Im going to look at a Paul Newman Spec DR30 tomorrow.. it doesnt have the FJ20det its got the L20et motor. I wouldnt be keeping this id be swapping in an RB20det if i can get the whole car cheap enough.

What Diff does it have? R180 or R200?

the Gbox, brakes and suspension the same as the DR30 Fj model?

what else is different? what else can ppl tell me about them?

apart from the engines, the only thing that seperates these doozeys is some cosmetic changes such as lights, and so on..

hi can anyone tell me wat disk brakes fit on the rear or the r30, is the gts-x the only modle with them.

best to get the whole rear subframe minus the diff and swap it over....from the hatch that is.

yeh mine is converted disk rear and they put the whole subframe in, there is something different about it as the paperwork i have for the job explains about it, dunno what though

Rb20 turbos apparently fit on the l20et manifold so that could be your first mod, that would spool alot nicer than the stock one

Wow, where did you find the Paul Newman.. I heard there were only 3 imported to Australia, one sold not very long ago for around 10K i think.. they are very nice. Wouldnt mind getting hold of one of them oneday. For now i'll live with the hatch
