Hi,

My r34 gtt came with bilstein shocks and king springs, I am considering raising it slightly but only if the bilstein shocks have the machined grooves with circlips than I can adjust - (I dont want to replace all the springs).

The problem is i know not all bilsteins are like this - and the pedders guy quoted me like $260 just to have a look and tell me (which if the answer is no they're not, im essentially throwing money away).

So anyway i had a look under the car and the front shocks have this written on them

E4FT2 Z003A01

and the rears..

E4FT2 Z007A00

I assume its some form of part number - and tried researching it too no avail..

I know its a long shot but does anyone know which type of shock this part number belongs too - and weather or not the circlip adjustment of where the springs are attached will be possible?

thanks

Sam

It should cost about $60 each groove to cut extras to suit the height you need. But thats after they are off the car of course.

Make that $45 per shock for 5 additional grooves = $180 for all 4 shocks.

Cheers
