Hey guys,

I picked up another slyline a few weeks back and i thought its about time to do a slight write up :D

Its an r34 sedan GT-T Tiptronic with 83000K's on the clock and it has been in oz for a little bit over 6months.

Iv had a 2 imports before this one, a r33 gtst & 200sx s15 :glare: at the moment i also have a E30 bmw

When i bought the slyline it was completely standard mechanically and had a bit of a sterio and window tint so i thought this was a prime starting point considering iv also just lost my license for 6months (P1's - 13km/hs over the limit :yucky: )

Sunday just gone, i picked up a set of GTR 34 wheels with brand new tires and put them on, only thing now is its higher then a Hilux with a liftkit! Soooo iv got some HSD HR's on the way and hopfully they will arrive ether tomorrow or next week sometime.

And thats it for now i have a few other plans i cant wait to get into. Below are a few pics from the day i got picked it up & what its like now with the wheels, enjoy

The coilover should be arriving Monday yay and I have the week of annual leave of work! Woot!

I don't think I'll go a kit though, i had a vertex kit on the s15 and it's didn't like my diveway....as you can see on the pics it's rather steep lol

Bit of an update

Alright coilovers arrived Tuesday afternoon and they where in by 8:30pm lol

The 34 looks so much better now and handles great! :P

I think I’m going to raise the front though about 10mm or so, it does scrub on the inside plastic on full lock...

Also I got some pineapples too however after getting them I’ve heard quite allot of negativity towards them. Does anyone else run them on there skyline?

below are some pics :) cheers guys! Any imput would be great

f**k your house is hot - i'm looking for a clarendon very similar - with the sexy feature window and all :ban:

sweet choice of rims too mate, out of curiosity - how much did you pick them up for?

Thanks mate! yeah love living round here, so close to the hills but still not to far from town! maybe 15-20min drive :D

I did a straight swap for them, I had my bmw wheels for sale (16x8 +0) with some new kumoh's on and a guy had these for sale so yeah :P I’m pretty happy, love the look of it..So happy!

Looking fantastic so far mate! Fantastic ride height. What other plans do you have for it?

Got a few ideas but nothing has been set in stone yet!

Performance wise - Next thing on the list for sure though is an exhaust! I’v been reading up on the Verex' and by the sounds of things there great! So that’s that.

In the bigger picture though probs up the boost, fuel pump, front mount & considering stall converter shirt kit.

Externally - Before I got the GTR wheels I was going to get a set of the Volk GT-V's so I think I will probably end up changing wheels and then doing allot of guard work :)Then I want the carbon roof & lip spoilers too and if there’s still some moneys left laying around lol I might chuck in some red buckets. That’s the idea I have in my head of it but really whenever do plans go to plan haha :)

Andrew also can do coolerpipes, thats next on the cards for mine, he also does strut braces, turbo heat sheilds, lazer cut plates and much more. Soon to be doing roll cages too...

That exhaust looks pretty good, mate! Looks like it'd be pretty loud though!

suprisingly not, it isnt that loud, sounds good.

And i dunno if you watched him Lewis, weld it all together, he makes it look so easy, and he definatly knows his stuff

Naa unfortunately not, only him polishing it all up when I arrived to pick it up...

yeah its not overly loud, but it does have the informs RB growl & bite to it!

Completely off topic but niksta do live in the flagstaff hill, hub or happy valley area by any chance?

Love it mate, the GT-R wheels look awesome on just about anything. Big fan of the exhaust also, have one of Andrew's systems on my 33 ( exact same system as on his car ). They sound just that little bit different to most other RB exhausts which I love.

thanks mate, sadly the guy i got them off decided he was a big fan of gutter rash so yeah every oppotunity he had he did lol :P

iv got them going in to get touched up (no welding needed) and powder coated gloss black inc. centre caps and thats happening towards the end of jan start of feb
