$1500 to remove the gearbox, fix and re-fit the gearbox ist to bad of a price. The other option is to get someone like me to pull the gearbox out at my shop, probably cost you about $180 bucks and then take it to one of those places. Then get me to put it back in for another $180 bucks. Just depends how much they charge to do the gearbox rebuild.

What was the price for award gearbox and diff to rebuild the box? Are they able to do any worthwhile strength mods to help longevity without absolutely breaking the bank?

Ha ha I couldn't get third numerous times at ec,slapped it into fourth no probe,still good after ten years. :-)
