Rb20 Exhaust Manifold?

i have put on a after market manifold on my r32 and i can not get one of the nuts on the studs the nut hits the manifold. any1 had this problem.. is there anyway to get it on. it is leaking from where it isnt gettin pressure put on it

Have you tried using a thinner nut? like 3/4 thickness. How badly is it fouling

if its a cheap ebay one then thats standard, i'd also recommend not running them at all!

i had one and it cracked so bad you could see straight through it to the ground!!

The stud you would be talking about would be right in the middle at the bottom, just cut the stud down so there is enough thread left just for the nut, I have use these manifolds and they are

not the best, they need a lot of work and then they are ok. they need porting at the head flange a 50mm waste gate pipe and the collector needs a lot of work inside. Also to stop them from cracking

add a support bracket off the dump pipe to the bell housing to stop the manifold flexing.

I had the same problems with my manifold because it was made out of super thick steam pipe.

I took all the studs out and installed SR20 studs. Then a little manipulation of the manifold while I'm installing it and it bolts down.
