Ok i know this is probably not only the wrong section but the wrong website however typing in swiftsaustralia.com didn't turn up anything so I'm just going to try my luck here, as most of you know i'm in Brissy visiting my GF who unfortunately doesn't exactly take care of her car all that well, so when I'm here i try to give it as much TLC as I can. About 3-4 months ago the car started behaving really badly it would stutter and jerk a lot, after we changed the oil, oil filter, air filter, and spark plugs it improved dramatically but its still stuttering especially when you have the pedal to the floor with low rev's (Like in a higher gear or going up a hill). Also it feels a bit low on power at first I thought it might be because I went from my pride and joy to hers but she also says it feels a little down although it does seem to pull a little harder when it achieves higher rev's. I'm still trying to find the fuel filter and replace that but other then that hope you guys have some good input

James

I'd say bad batch of Fuel. Or even water in the fuel (which a squirt of Metho will fix.

Failing that maybe try resetting the ECU. Disco the battery, and press the brake pedal for 20 odd seconds, reconnect the battery and go for a good drive.

The Finance has a 2007 Swift S, and it's been poster child for reliability....a FWD nightmare for me, but bloody reliable. :P (it's service regime is YEARLY :) )
