R33 Air Con Not Working

Since I've had the car, the air con hasn't worked. Now that its getting hot im looking to get it working as it wont blow cold air.

Where do i start and what are things to check before i end up taking it to an A/C joint?

Car is a 96 R33 Series 2

Start by putting the climate control into diagnostic mode, check the DIY section

Got results of 20 and 30 in diag which points to all sensors good, and the temps read 39 out and 42 in which was about right for today

Maybe same problem as I have with the servo blend door (that controls the rod that determines if cold or hot air comes in), common R32 problem, might be same issue for you (putting pressure on the plug makes it works again).

I'd start by having the air con regassed.

If it needs re gassing then there has to be a leak somewhere. Maybe the seals where the pipes connect are dried out and cracked. That's why u should run ur air cond once every week to keep those seals lubricated, especially in winter when u don't use the air cond much.

If there is no cold air comeing out then I'd say the air cond has no or low gas and has tripped out on low pressure

Can you hear the air con clutch click on when you turn it on? If not check the fuse...
