Was having a look at pics from previous texi's, and noticed that alot of ppl had the blue battery triangle's on.. Is this a requirment for the day, and is it needed on the roads.. i have been told two different things by two different cops...

Could anyone give me a bit more of an idea on what this is? Do we have timed runs around a short course? Is the skid pan wet (I've never been on one but seen a few that are) and will a set of tyres usually survive the day? It sounds pretty good so far though.

I found this on youtube and if thats it i'm paying asap:

Don't know how well i'll do but my xr6t can make some smoke

If its raining does it still go ahead or get rescheduled?

Tyres should most defo make the day, and a few more after it, unless you're one for holding brake +throttle together for extended periods of time...

And that video is from the last Texikhana day the SAU ran.

So yes, exactly that stuff.

bit of a n00b question!

can you apply for your AASA licence on the day just like you can with your cams licence?

i did lastime, check with Duncan I guess, but i'm pretty sure they just fill in the form and accept your money and send it off and give you a slip saying its been paid or something like that...

faxed and paid.

Also with the AASA license i've got one i got from wakefield park that says Club Comp license and it expires in July. That's enough isnt it?

Yes, but i STRONGLY advise against it. It takes up an officials time during signon and their time is precious so maybe do it this week ?

any chance of an update of the entrants? Just want to see my faxed form came through ok from dodgy fax at work..... cheers!

About to do that

faxed and paid.

Instead of AASA would it be better to get the L2S license? And if so, how do I go about that before the day? Just don't wanna waste time, and have to leave home even earlier =/
