Hi guys,

just wanting to upgrade my turbo soon,

just looking for some advise on what to do.

should i go the cheapish option and find a secong hand RB25 turbo? what sort of power can you expect with that turbo upgrade?

or go like a brand new turbo, 2530, 2871R... something like that? or other models, and what sort of power levels can be expected with these turbos?

dont want to have to upgrade the standard manifold or dump if possible

advise is greatly appreciated! :D

cheers,

Brad

RB25 turbo, expect 180-190ish kw at 12-14psi

VG30 turbo is around the same i think?

RB25 hiflow. will easyly crack 200.

Keep in mind you need supporting mods to get these figures.

Can build you a GT3071 Spec turbo in .63 rear housing internally gated with bolton patterns to your stock manifold and dump for $1450 sleeve bearing or $1750 in Ball bearing. Its good for upto 250rwkws with pretty good response and torque.

Or for 2nd hand turbos you can fit a RB25Neo turbo, They are pretty good for about 200rwkws with very good response.
