Installed My Walbro Pump

did my fuel pump install yesterday, (550hp internal walbro)

the thing is i mounted it straight off the original hose, and since the walbro is quite a bit smaller it sits higher then the stocker, and also the filter underneath is alot smaller on the walbro, would it be mounted too low or would it be ok?

when my fuel is below 1/4 tank i tend to take it easy anyways, wat do u guys recon

ive got 1 in mine just buy a bit of hose n sit it in the bottom of the bracket mines the same n works fine

i alredy hacksawed that bit of bracket off lol, folowed one of the DIY articles but was for a bosch

haha well get some new fuel hose and attach the walboro in the stock position, and use a longer piece of hose to make up for however much it is short by...unless u completely hacked off that hose, then connect the line straight to the lid part. thats what i had to do with my bosch 044

i cabled tied my Walbro no probs as well, when im going sideways and all still hasnt fallen of its cradle

I did the same as 'geraus' and it has never had a problem, as long as its sitting correctly on the cradle you shouldnt have a problem
