Engine Conversion

hey guys looking at doing an engine conversion for my R32 i have a rb25 det out of my r34 or a RB26 or a Gen III?? let me know what you guys think one what will be best for drifting???

Gen III you'll have instant torque! and all ally block so wont be too heavy, wont distrupt weight distribution

gen III would be cheaper. and you'd still have more torque which is what its all about haha

if youve got the know how and access to decent fabrication (engine/box mounts etc...) fkn go for LS motor...

be cheaper in the long run cos you wont have to thrash it as much as a turbo motor (26, 25/30 etc...)

I got good question, what's your budget? I guess since you are interested in drifting you have a few bucks ready for suspension, cage and all the other parts.

rb25 or rb26; easy swap, easy to make 350-400hp (you won't even need that much once you start out drifting);

There really isn't alot of detail in the OP. If you don't currently drift, and don't have a huge budget, then I'd start off with the RB25.

LS motor would be great, but its not exactly "my first engine swap" material.

25 would be weekend with mates material.

not as revy as a 26

not as torquey as a GIII

Boosted ftw... much easier to control your drift i think personally

gen 3 is torquey, but i wouldnt use it for drifting aye!
