Shipping from America

Has any here had any exprience with shipping stuff from america (arizona) to australia (perth)?

Because I have tracked down a guy with 2 of my rims. Weighing about 20 pounds each i know it is going to be cheap but it will still be worth it...

Can he send them over and I pay them for them so he doesnt have to outlay any money? Or does he have to pay them then i reinburse him?

I just need to know where to start....

Can anyone point me in the right direction in who i should contact etc etc?

when you buy a return ticket to south africa from australia, it sometimes works out more expensive than to buy a one way ticket and then buy a one wayer with SA rand home again, because of the exchange rate.

your best bet will probably be via sea-shipping....and you would be well advised to get quotes from both ends.

Fedex does USA -> AUS, like zanda said, prolly best to go by sea.

First you get a quote for shipping, then give the dude in USA the cash for it, pretty sure he'll have to pay for it when he sends the parcel

dude check with C-red as well. I know TNT and stuff do all kinds of shipping, but c-red have a rep i think for their cars or parts etc over in the US. maybe they can organise it fairly cheap, or at least their dude in the US might be able to. His name is on their website

20 pounds each?? thats pretty heavy ... if u want to send it via postal ... www.usps.com will be ur cheapest option ... as i've shipped heaps of stuff via that and found it to be quite good ... but yeah ... will be pretty expensive ... you're lookin at about at least 100 bucks a rim i think.

20punds is average weight for a rim...i think they are actually 19 but all still the same shit... thanks aswell guys i gotta investigate those avenues aswell

http://www.usps.gov is the url for the US postal service... they have an online shipping calculator... bung in size and weight, and destination, and you'll get a list of options...
